Help

If you need help now

You don't have to be at a breaking point to call these. Most are free and confidential, and every one of them has heard it before.

Check these numbers on the organizations' own sites; services change. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

A medical note

Dry100 is a day counter, not medical advice or treatment. Stopping suddenly after heavy, regular drinking can be dangerous: talk to a doctor first. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US) or call Samaritans on 116 123 (UK and Ireland), or your local emergency number.

Warning signs that you need urgent medical help when stopping include shaking, sweating, confusion, seeing or hearing things that aren't there, or seizures. Get help straight away.

Common questions

I restarted. Did I lose everything?

No. Use Start again in the app. Your earlier stretch stays in your history, its days still count toward your total, and nobody is told unless you tell them.

I lost my supporter's link.

Open your circle, find their name and tap Copy link. If you've lost access to where you sent it, use Replace their link and send the new one.

Can I use Dry100 for something other than alcohol?

The counter counts days from any date, and you can use it for anything you're taking a break from. The wording and tips are written for alcohol.

How do I delete everything?

Account, then Delete my account. It removes your counter, history, notes, circle and subscription, and can't be undone. Download your data first if you want a copy.

Is my data sold or shared?

No. See the privacy page for the few services that process it on our behalf.
